FRIZLEN is building for future
Building the 5th extension for its factory premises in Murr, Germany, FRIZLEN is setting the course to the future. A new production building is under construction at the moment. The new building with 2 floors and a floor space of about 2000 m² will provide the space for present and future growth.

After a planning phase of more than one year FRIZLEN started the biggest building project in its history: The construction of a two-storey factory building. With a net area of about 4000 m² the new building will provide space for the major part of the resistor assembly and a new central warehouse area.
“With our current factory premises we were reaching limits more and more often – especially for our assembly team. That´s why we decided to take this important step for FRIZLEN and open a new chapter for our production” says Ernst Gehrung, managing partner of FRIZLEN. “With this new building we will more or less double the available space for our assembly and logistics teams. Of course we will not completely fill this space from the first day on. But we definitely wanted to take a huge step here, because sometimes you need the space faster than expected. That´s what we have seen especially in the past year 2020.”
On the new factory space FRIZLEN is planning to expand its production capacity significantly to satisfy the customer demand even faster than in the past. “With regard to the lead time of our resistors we were not always able to fulfill the requests of our customers. So the whole FRIZLEN team is very much looking forward to the additional space and the potential that will come along with it. Especially in terms of our inhouse logistics we want to take a big step forward - and thus make our customers even happier with shorter lead times”, says Michael Westreicher, plant manager at FRIZLEN.
The new building is currently under construction. Have a look at the construction site on our picture series above. The new building is planned to be ready for moving in by the 4th quarter of 2021. We will keep you posted here…
