Back-up power supply units

Only used in exceptional cases, but when used, with full power and without delay: Back-up power supply or emergency power supply units are of key significance when it concerns the ability to operate important processes even in the event of an emergency, whether it be in hospitals, power plants, data processing centres or central offices.

For many years now, FRIZLEN has provided manufacturers and operators of such units with a large range of load resistors, as well as the relevant advice.

Test back-up power supply units under loads

In order to be able to guarantee the availability of large back-up power supply units , regular tests are necessary. These tests are generally carried out under load in order to operate the unit under comparable conditions "as in the event of an emergency" and therefore to check performance capability.
FRIZLEN offers a wide range of load resistors . Whether as a single unit with an output of up to 250kW or as parallel connection of multiple devices to generate the necessary output: FRIZLEN is your partner when it comes to providing you with a back-up supply unit with the corresponding power output .
For high outputs, we provide forced-ventilation devices with axial fans; alternatively, resistors can be integrated into an existing air outlet conduit provided by the customers .
