The load resistor which is forced-ventilated by an axial flow fan (230/400 V; 50 Hz) is divided into eight load levels. The single levels from 3.5 kW to 84 kW of continuous dissipation can be switched separately by power contactors. Central control of the resistor device is possible by connecting a PLC through a control cable.
The FAVRM load resistor is built up of standardized steel-grids, wirewound tubular resistors, and wirewound lamina type resistors. We define the load levels and the design of the switch cabinet in accordance to your requirements.
